Roberto Fernández de Luis

Roberto Fernández de Luis got his PhD (Material science, 2009) from the University of the Basque Country. His research is focused on the development of porous materials and devices and their application on environmental and circular economy related applications. He has specialized on single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction at non-ambient temperature during his PhD; but afterwards He has work on inorganic gels and inorganic-organic composites for environmental remediation too. Currently, he is a coordinator of a RISE-MSCA action focused on the development of water membranes for heavy metals removal, and coordinator of the BCMaterials in the UNESCO project: Mine Tailings revalorization.
