Roque J. Minari

He is Researcher at National Council of Scientific and Technical Researches (CONICET) in the Institute of Technological Development for the Chemical Industry (INTEC) and Professor at Chemical Engineering Faculty of the National University of the Litoral (UNL), Santa Fe, Argentina.

He graduated in Chemical Engineering (2001) at the National Technological University, Villa María (Argentina), and obtained his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering (2006) at UNL. He did posdoctoral researches at INTEC and at POLYMAT/University of the Basque Country, Donostia/San Sebastián, Spain.

His fields of interests are: i) polymer synthesis in homogeneous and disperse media; and ii) polymer characterization and applications. The current focus of his work involves: a) waterborne hybrid biopolymer/polymer and polymer/polymer nanoparticles for adhesives, coatings and biomedical applications; b) waterborne polymeric particles for their uses as coating and adhesives; and c) crosslinked polymeric platforms (gels and nanogels) for controlled delivery systems.
